The fee
We pay $5,000 for each company you introduce that becomes a client. It is one flat payment, the same for every service, made once the client pays its first invoice.
We pay it in US dollars by bank transfer within 30 days of that payment clearing. An introduction that does not lead to a paid invoice earns no fee.
Introducing a client
Email contact@mllabs.com with the company and the person you are introducing, or use the call form and choose the referral option. We confirm by email.
The first documented introduction of a company counts. The statement of work names you as the referrer, so the record does not depend on anyone's memory.
Who qualifies
Anyone can refer, current clients included. The fee is earned by the first introduction to a company that signs a statement of work within 12 months of it.
No fee is paid for a company we have been in contact with in the past 12 months, to an employee, officer, board member or agent of that company, to anyone who influences its decision to buy, or to any government official or employee.
Disclosure and tax
Tell the company you introduce that we pay you a referral fee for the introduction. If you recommend us in public, say in that same post that you receive a fee.
Before we pay, we need a W-9 from a referrer in the US or a W-8BEN from anyone else, and we issue a 1099-NEC where the law requires one. We may change these terms for introductions not yet made; the terms in force on the day you make an introduction are the ones that apply to that introduction and its fee.
