Privacy and Terms of Use

What we collect

• Analytics. From your first page view, Google Analytics records the pages you view, your device and browser, how you arrived (referrer and campaign), and an approximate city or country from your IP address, never a precise position.
• Site use. It also records the links and buttons you press, how far you scroll and which questions you open. It never reads what you type into a form.
• Session recording. Microsoft Clarity records mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, with the text on each page masked. It runs alongside Google Analytics.
• What you submit. The contact form, the readiness scan's report unlock and referral submissions collect your name, work email and the details you type. We use them only to reply to you, send the report you asked for and follow up.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe to The ML LABS Briefing, we keep your email and whether you are subscribed, confirm once by email, then send the newsletter weekly.

Advertising

• While we run ads on LinkedIn, Google, Microsoft or X, their tags tell each platform the pages you viewed and whether you booked a call, subscribed or played an episode.
• When you book a call or confirm the newsletter, we may share the ad's click reference and a hashed, one-way coded copy of your email with them, never your name.
• Each uses it only to tell whether its ad led you here, and, for newsletter readers, to show you our posts or leave you out of ads that repeat what you already read.
• Each platform ties the visit to your account; we see only totals, never who you are. We never sell or rent your email address; it leaves us only as this hashed copy.
• Nothing is shared after you choose Decline on the analytics bar, when your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or once you ask us to stop sharing it.

Service providers

• Cloudflare serves this site. Amazon Web Services hosts the application, its database and its logs. Resend sends our email and holds the newsletter list.
• Google Workspace holds our email and calendar and supports booking the calls you request. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure use of public pages.

What we do not collect

• Public browsing needs no account, and workspace invitations sit behind private links. Marketing analytics exclude the invitation and sign-in pages.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not buy profiles about you. The readiness scan shows your score without asking you for an email address.

Your choices

• To opt out, choose Decline on the analytics bar, or add ?notrack=1 to any URL; either stops analytics, session recording and the ad tags on this device, now and later.
• Allow only closes the bar, and clearing this site’s data clears the opt-out too.
• Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control do not opt you out of measurement; Global Privacy Control does stop its use for ads and the sharing of your hashed email.
• To see, correct or delete what you submitted, email contact@mllabs.com. To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any issue; it acts at once.

Retention and security

• We keep what you submit only as long as we need it to reply and follow up, and we delete it whenever you ask. After you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we keep only your address and its opt-out, so you are not emailed again by mistake.
• If an incident affects your data, we notify you without undue delay and within 72 hours of becoming aware, with what is known and the steps being taken.

Using this site

• The site, its copy and its tools belong to ML LABS LLC; what you submit stays yours. Use the site as intended; do not scrape, resell or misrepresent it.
• The readiness scan and the savings estimate give estimates from your inputs, not a quote, a promise of results, or financial, legal or professional advice.
• Information on this site is provided as is, without any warranty. Links to other sites are there for your convenience; we do not control or endorse their content.

Working with us

• Engagements are governed by the agreement we both sign, sent to you as a formal document before work starts. Nothing on this site changes its terms.
